WoW Forever Gold on the EU Mega-Server
One world for the whole of Europe, and the same rates as the Americas today. What differs is not the price but the clock: the European evening is when this world is busiest and when a face-to-face trade is easiest to arrange.
Same rates on both mega-servers today. If the two economies separate after November 4, these become two price lists instead of one — the tracker will show it before we write it.
Layering, and the one trick worth knowing
Europe is one world spread across layers of the same zone, so standing in the right place is not enough to see each other. Mail ignores layers; a party invite puts you both on the same one, which is the whole fix for a hand-to-hand trade.
Why the rate is quoted in dollars
Sellers price this market in dollars and we read it in dollars. The listings we track are published in euro by geolocation and converted at the rate the seller's own API returned that day — we do not add a conversion of our own on top.
Questions about the EU mega-server
Does gold cost more on the EU mega-server?
Not today. Every style is the same price on both: $0.86 Normal, $0.65 PvP, $1.04 Roleplay. The mega-server decides where the seller has to be standing, not what they charge.
Can a seller from the other region deliver to me?
No. The Americas and Europe are separate worlds with separate characters, and nothing crosses between them — no mail, no trade, no auction house. An order placed against the wrong region cannot be delivered at all.
Do I need a realm name when I order?
There is no realm to name. Your region, your gameplay style and your faction are the whole address, plus your character's two-part name — which is unique across the region, so there is nothing to disambiguate.
